Miss Cecil Leitch wins Ladies Golf Championship

The British Ladies Golf Championship was won in thrilling fashion yesterday by Cecil Leitch.

In the final of the competition, Miss Leitch defeated the American (and former British) Champion, Gladys Ravenscroft. Aged just 23, Miss Leitch is now considered by many to be the finest lady golfer currently playing the game and is considered capable of dominating major competitions for the foreseeable future.

More than 5,000 people attended the final, which Miss Leitch won by 2 and 1.
