US IT company Perot Systems has bought Irish company Original Solutions for an undisclosed sum.
Set up in 2003, Original Solutions provides technology services and advice to companies. It has offices in Dublin, Limerick and London and employs 90 people. It had sales of €9m last year.
Founder and CEO John Collins will remain as head of the company. Mr Collins said Perot Systems' scale would provide it with new opportunities and enable it to provide better service to existing customers.
Texas-based Perot Systems, founded by former US presidential candidate Ross Perot in 1988, had worldwide sales of $2.6 billion last year.
