Batchelors, Symantec, Bulmers recycle winners
Thursday, 5 October 2006Batchelors, Symantec and Bulmers were among the prize winners at last night's Repak Recycling Awards in Dublin.
Batchelors won the large company award for recovering 95% of its cardboard, plastic and composites on site, and for reducing the weight of its cans for peas and beans.
Technology company Symantec took the award for the best packaging waste prevention initiative after a programme to reduce packaging.

Bulmers won the best practice award for moving from non-returnable to returnable longneck bottles, saving €1m in costs.
