IrishJobs.ie buys online rival

IrishJobs.ie has acquired Jobs.ie, formerly known as Nixers.com, for an undisclosed sum.

The company says the deal further expands and reinforces IrishJobs.ie's position in the growing online recruitment market.

Over the past five years Jobs.ie has carved out a leading position mainly in the lucrative 'single job posting' market, with particular success in the Hotel, Catering and Leisure sectors.
