PC World to open Galway store
Thursday, 30 September 2004Computer store PC World is to open its sixth Irish store in Galway in early December, with the creation of up to 30 new jobs. The new store in Wellpark Retail Park will see an investment by the group of €2m.
PC World, which is owned by the Dixons Store Group, opened its first Irish store in Blanchardstown in 1997. It now has stores in Liffey Valley in Dublin, as well as stores in Limerick, Waterford and Dundalk.
The new store will carry over 5,000 computer related product lines, including laptops, PCs, printers, digital cameras and software.
