Enterprise selling Corrib gas to Bord Gais

Joint owners of the Corrib gas field Enterprise Energy has announced it is to sell 60% of its share of gas to Bord Gais.

Enterprise, which owns 45% of Corrib, said it was in talks with other major gas users to sell the remaining gas into the Irish market.

The first gas from the field is expected in the second half of 2003.

The Corrib field is a joint venture between Enterprise, Statoil, and Marathon Petroleum.
