She is a single parent and a stay at home mum to one son, Riloh (3). In her spare time she makes art and jewellery, takes photographs and sells her pieces at fairs around Dublin for extra money. Singing is her favourite creative outlet. She says her voice is suited to jazz and the blues. She plays the keyboard, some drums, and the kazoo. She has been writing her own songs since she was a child and has her own style of writing, which she calls 'Romantic Realism' and describes as a mix of genres.
