Kate is studying full time at The Gaiety School of Acting, and lives at home with her parents. She describes her voice as jazzy, soulful, bluesy, and raspy. She says her dad introduced her to music when she was growing up and she likes to sing with her dad. She loves music from the 60s, and 60s revival like Amy Winehouse. She has been a member of a musical society in Dublin for the past year, competed in 'Teen Idol', and auditioned for X-Factor in 2008. By taking part in The Voice of Ireland she hopes to gain experience and more knowledge of what suits her voice, and where it can potentially take her in the future.
