Elliot has been working as an apprentice hairdresser in a small local salon. But he says singing is his life, he grew up around music and has always had an interest in it. He describes his voice as unique and powerful. He plays the guitar and banjo and has been writing songs for several years in a style he says contains elements of folk, indie rock and soul music. The album The Best of Otis Reading encouraged him to be brave and to use his voice to its full capacity. He busks a lot and does some small gigs around Dublin.
