Claire is a stay at home mother and one of the lead singers with 'Blush', a church/wedding vocal group. Her cousin Olivia Luc (who also auditioned on The Voice of Ireland) is in the same group with her. She is married to Gerard and has two children, a son Luca (4) and daughter Sophie (1). Claire says her family have always been passionate about music, and end most nights they get together by singing. She says she is taking part in The Voice because she wants to make something big of herself, not waste the voice she was given, and to be able to sing full time to give her kids everything that she can and make them proud.
