Kent-born Nick Munier left school at 16 before enrolling in catering college. Following on from his studies he was quickly employed by the Roux Brothers in London to begin his experience. Munier spent almost a decade alongside Marco Pierre White in his three Michelin-starred The Hyde Park restaurant in London. In the early 2000's, Munier relocated to Ireland with jobs at Peacock Alley, Restaurant Patrick Guilbauld and The Clarence, while also meeting and marrying his wife here.
On screen, Munier shone as the Maitre d' of Kell's Kitchen, before joining the judging panel of MasterChef Ireland, alongside Dylan McGrath. Munier owns Pichet, a restaurant on Dublin's Trinity Street that he opened with Stephen Gibson in 2009.
