Geraldine fails to make Apprentice final

Steve Rayner and Steven Higgins will battle it out to become Bill Cullen's 'Apprentice' after Geraldine O'Callaghan failed to make the final.

Although she got the boot Geraldine insisted afterwards "I'm very happy with the last words Bill said to me. He gave me compliments - that he doesn't have enough time to train me in because I'm raw. I totally understand him. I'm still a bit giddy."

She added: "I went out on a good note. I'm just gutted I' didn't win."

Geraldine was fired after the finalists endured tough interviews with four industry professionals.

Under interrogation Steve Rayner revealed he's a recovering alcoholic and compulsive gambler.
