Westlife claim that Louis fired them

Westlife star Shane Filan has claimed that the group's manager Louis Walsh fired them twice.

According to Contactmusic, the singer said: "He's fired us twice."

"He thought we were being arrogant little rock stars and said, 'Look I can't deal with you'."

"Two years later the same sort of thing happened again - he just got a vibe that we were a little bit too big for our boots."

"We were all genuinely devastated. I was crying."

Some great songs

David Turpin - Haunted!

Rating 3

While the idea of a lad from Sandymount indulging his R&B side is truly terrifying, 'The Bone Dance' and 'Dorothy Gale' would justify endless circles around the Green in a Golf with Subwoofer speakers.

Some say that there are no endings, only beginnings - hopefully Jones can hear that in this album too.

Norah Jones - The Fall

Rating 4

'The Fall' proves the theory that out of the bad can come the good, or in this case the great - it's the best album Jones has made.

The biggest problem here is that the quartet don't play to their strengths enough.

Bon Jovi - The Circle

Rating 3

There's life in Bon Jovi yet; bringing the story full circle could give them their best songs in a long time.
