Katherine Jenkins is treated in hospital

Singer Katherine Jenkins has been forced to cancel a London concert after being hospitalised.

According to the singer's music label, she is "suffering from nervous exhaustion" and was "treated for Gastric flu".

In a posting on her Twitter page, Jenkins wrote: "Still feel pretty awful (Norovirus apparently). Just wanted to say sorry to all those who were coming to iTunes (Live)."

"A hospital visit last night has made a big difference and I feel I am coming out the other side of it. I hate letting you all down."
