Walters, Frost scoop top Emmy awards

Veteran actress Julie Walters, up-and-coming star Ben Whishaw and David Frost took the top honours at the International Emmys awards.

'Mamma Mia!' star Walters, 59, won the best actress prize for the assisted-suicide drama 'A Short Stay in Switzerland'.

29-year-old Whishaw landed the best actor gong for the five-part drama 'Criminal Justice'.

The International Emmys honour TV programmes made outside America and interviewing legend David Frost was presented with an honorary Founders Award for lifetime achievement.
