Noel Gallagher set for Corrie role?

Singer Noel Gallagher is reportedly being lined up to make a guest appearance in 'Coronation Street'.

According to Digital Spy, the show's producer Kim Crowther said in a recent webchat: "We are planning lots for the 50th anniversary; it will be must-see television."

"It would be fab to see Tracy Barlow back, wouldn't it?"

"I would love to bring Hilda back - and Mavis. Noel Gallagher would be great. There are also plans for some new faces in the factory."

Gallagher recently said that he loves catching up on 'Coronation Street' when he is at home.
