REM start work on their new record

REM have begun work on their new album, the follow-up to 2008's 'Accelerate'.

NME.com reports that REM singer Michael Stipe posted two behind the scenes videos on the band's official website.

REM are working again with Irish producer Garret 'Jacknife' Lee on the album.
