JLS stars say Jedward deserve a break

JLS stars Oritsé Williams and Marvin Humes have urged 'X Factor' fans to give John and Edward "a break".

Speaking to RTÉ.ie at the Cheerios Childline Concert, the former 'X Factor' stars described the Irish twins as "great guys".

Marvin Humes praised the twins' mentor Louis Walsh, saying: "Louis is incredible at what he does. He's done a great job with John and Edward."

"We met them a few weeks ago. They're great guys. We wish them all the best. I think that they could win it just as much as anybody else now."

Oritsé Williams said: "The guys are very polite and very driven and determined. For me it was really sad to see that they were getting such scrutiny in the papers and people were booing them. I think it's really unfair."

"They're 18 years old, striving for their dream, just as everyone else is. The public obviously love them. That's why they're still in the competition and they're determined, despite all of the rubbish that they've been getting."

"They really are a lot more serious about what they do than people actually realise or think."

"So give them a break... John and Edward, we love you," he said.

When asked to predict a winner, Williams said: "I think it's hard to call. We think that the top three might be Olly, John and Edward and Stacey."
