Strictly's Bruce to miss Saturday's show

'Strictly Come Dancing' presenter Bruce Forsyth is to miss the show for the first on Saturday night following a bout of flu.

Forsyth, who was recovering at his home in Virginia Water, Surrey, today, has never missed an episode of the popular ballroom dancing contest which is now in its seventh series.

A BBC spokesman said: "Unfortunately, due to a bout of flu and on doctors' orders, Bruce will be unable to present 'Strictly Come Dancing' this Saturday. However, Tess Daly will be stepping into his presenting shoes."
