Rihanna to live stream gig around the world

Pop singer Rihanna is set to showcase her new material in a concert which will be live-streamed globally.

The gig, which will feature songs from Rihanna's upcoming album 'Rated R', will take place on 16 November at a secret location in London, in association with Nokia.

Speaking about the performance, Rihanna said: "I am so excited to partner up with Nokia. They are doing some really revolutionary things with this album, enabling me to reach more fans than ever before."

Fans who want to watch the showcase can sign up to watch it at: http://www.nokia.com/rihanna

They can also invite friends to watch the performance simultaneously with them through Facebook and Twitter.

Gill Dooley, Head of Digital, for Universal Music Ireland, said "'Good Girl Gone Bad' is currently 8 times platinum in Ireland and has been on the charts for 135 weeks."

"Needless to say the Irish record buying public are extremely excited about the new Rihanna release."
