Bullock's husband in custody dispute

Sandra Bullock's husband, Jesse James, has appealed to his ex-wife to leave the film star out of their ongoing custody dispute over their daughter.

People reports that the star of the US TV show 'Monster Garage' has responded to comments made by former wife Janine Lindemulder on 'Good Morning America' suggesting that Bullock was trying to "take away my daughter".

A lawyer acting for James, Marilyn Slifman, said the comments were "inaccurate and unfortunate". She continued "Sandra Bullock is not a party to this litigation."

James and Bullock have been raising five-year-old Sunny since January after her mother was imprisoned for tax evasion. Lindemulder has been involved in court proceedings with James since her release from prison.
