Willoughby: 'Danyl struggling on X Factor'

Holly Willoughby has said that Danyl Johnson seemed to struggle during Rock Week on 'The X Factor'.

Speaking as a presenter on ITV's This Morning, the 'Xtra Factor' host suggested that Johnson was shocked by the public vote a week earlier.

Willoughby said: "Danyl struggled a bit. I think he really got the wind knocked out of his sails last week when he was in the bottom two and I think he's felt pretty safe in the competition up until now.

"He always gets a standing ovation from Simon, he's got the most followers on Twitter so it seemed really out of the blue."

She added: "People were saying one week of bad press and that's what happens to him, and yet the twins, John and Edward, have had weeks and weeks and weeks of bad press and yet they come out every week and perform to the best of their ability and it's like water off a duck's back."

Earlier this week, Johnson insisted that he still believed he could win the show despite his setback.
