Law & Order spin-off gets new boss

The detectives on 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' are getting a new boss.

Entertainment Weekly reports that 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' star Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio will play the new captain.

Mastrantonio is replacing Eric Bogosian, who plays Captain Danny Ross.

In September it was announced that stars Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Detective Robert Goren, and Kathryn Erbe, who plays Goren's partner, Detective Alex Eames, would also be leaving the show.

Jeff Goldblum's character, Detective Zach Nichols, will be the lead detective in the future, with actress Saffron Burrows playing his new partner.
