Deschanel joining sister in Bones

'500 Days of Summer' star Zooey Deschanel is to make a guest appearance in her sister Emily's TV show 'Bones'.

TVGuide.com reports that it is the first time the sisters have appeared on screen together.

Zooey Deschanel will play Margaret Whitesell, a distant relative of Emily's character, Dr Temperance Brennan.

In the episode Brennan's father (Ryan O'Neal) invites Margaret to spend Christmas with them.

The episode will be shown on American television in December.

It won't stick in the memory like, say, a 'Monsters, Inc' or 'Lilo and Stitch', but 'Astro Boy' is a fairly quick 90 minutes.

Some brilliant moments but sadly, for a film about losing one's virginity, it doesn't go all the way.
