Jackman turns down Oscar role

Hugh Jackman has reportedly turned down the chance to host the 2010 Academy Awards.

The X-Men star, who was widely praised for his stewardship of this year's ceremony, declined the chance to renew Oscar presenting duties, says Variety magazine.

Jackman may take on the master of ceremonies role in the future, but reportedly does not want to oversee the event for two years in a row.
