James Franco joins General Hospital

'Spiderman' and 'Pineapple Express' star James Franco has joined the cast of 'General Hospital'.

According to SoapNet, the 31-year-old actor will play a character who is connected to mobster Jason Morgan.

Executive producer Jill Farren Phelps said: "We are thrilled to announce that James Franco will play an integral part in a lengthy run on 'General Hospital' this fall."
