Strictly star begs partner for a date
'Strictly' star Brian Fortuna has revealed he is desperate to go on a date with dance partner Ali Bastian.
Professional dancer Brian Fortuna - who was photographed holding hands with The Bill'' star last week - claims he begs the blonde beauty to go out with him nearly every day.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper Fortuna said: "The truth is I've been asking Ali out for two or three weeks. She turns me down every time but maybe one day she'll accept it. Who knows?"
The 'Strictly' partners fuelled speculation they are an item off the dance floor when they stuck by each other's sides at the Inside Soap Awards this week.
Bastian - who plays Sally Armstrong in the police drama - has however, hinted she and Brian are already an item.
When asked if there was a romance on the cards between her and charmer Brian, she replied: "It's early days. We only met each other a few weeks ago. We get on really, really well. I feel lucky to have Brian as a partner. We have the best time.
"He is training me and pushing me hard, which I'm really glad about, but at the same time we manage to have a laugh."
