Willoughby: 'I have the best job ever'

Holly Willoughby has claimed that she has the "best telly job ever".

Speaking to The People, the presenter revealed that she was surprised when she was asked to replace Fern Britton on 'This Morning'.

She said: "I almost fainted. I was in shock, I didn't see it coming. It's the best telly job ever.

"There were so many other very, very talented presenters in the frame so I never thought I would have a chance and I can't wait to start."

Willoughby also replied to claims that she does not have enough experience for the role.

"People will have to judge me once they've seen me in front of the cameras on the 'This Morning' sofa.

"Of course there will be some nerves, but I know what I am capable of achieving. And if all goes wrong, I can hide behind Phillip - I know he won't mind.

"I am aware that I have big shoes to fill and I am going to do everything I can to do a very good job."

Willoughby is set to join 'This Morning' next Monday 14 September.
