Mayer responsible for Simpson, Romo split?

Tony Romo apparently dumped Jessica Simpson because of her ongoing contact with ex-boyfriend John Mayer.

Romo and Simpson reportedly split on Thursday, the night before her 29th birthday, when the two had planned a Barbie and Ken-themed party.

A source told RadarOnline.com, that American footballer Romo flew into Los Angeles on Thursday, things went sour quickly.

"They were hanging out and he picked up her phone and she got defensive about it," the source said.

The source continued: "Tony found messages from John and went ballistic.

"Tony dumped her right then. He walked out and that was it."

Since the split, Simpson has reportedly been spending time with her family, while Romo has been out partying with friends.

It won't stick in the memory like, say, a 'Monsters, Inc' or 'Lilo and Stitch', but 'Astro Boy' is a fairly quick 90 minutes.

Some brilliant moments but sadly, for a film about losing one's virginity, it doesn't go all the way.
