Clooney victim of web death rumour
George Clooney is the latest A-list celebrity to be killed off in an internet hoax following reports he had died.
Representatives for Clooney were forced to release a statement this week saying the actor is still alive and kicking after a web hoax sparked the rumour mill.
According to Now magazine, his agent Stan Rosenfeld revealed the star's office had been bombarded by calls from some of Clooney's closest friends and media outlet worried about his fate.

Earlier this week, Jeff Goldblum was also reported to have died. He was falsely said to have been killed in an on-set accident in New Zealand.
Natalie Portman, Harrison Ford, and Britney Spears were all victims of the terrible prank these last few days.
