New RTÉ crime drama starts tonight

The new four-part crime drama 'Father & Son' starts on RTÉ One tonight.

Written by 'Prime Suspect' writer Frank Deasy, the RTÉ-ITV co-production stars Dougray Scott, Stephen Rea, Sophie Okonedo, John Kavanagh, Reece Noi and Ian Hart.

It tells the story of Michael O'Connor (Scott), a former criminal who returns to Manchester from Ireland to save his son (Noi) from prison and also to come to terms with his own past.

'Father & Son' airs on RTÉ One tonight at 9.30pm.
