Corrie's Rosie faces dramatic plot

Helen Flanagan has said she feels "extremely lucky" to have spent the past nine years on Coronation Street.

According to the Press Association the actress who plays tearaway Rosie Webster is already a soap veteran at the age of 18.

She said: "I feel extremely lucky - I don't think I actually appreciated how lucky I was, because I've just grown up with it, so I'd taken it for granted really."

Helen added: "'Coronation Street' is such an amazing institution to be involved in and I've just kind of had it on a plate since I've been younger really, so I do think I'm very, very lucky to have had that opportunity."

Over the next few weeks there's plenty of drama heading Rosie's way: She's set to get a windfall from an unexpected source and a new love interest too.
