McFadden & Goodrem postpone wedding

Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem have announced that they are postponing their wedding due to increased work commitments.

Digitalspy reports that the couple originally planned to tie the knot at Christmas after becoming engaged in November 2007.

However, McFadden has now told The Sunday Telegraph: "We were sitting down to try to organise the wedding and we were thinking: 'We're never going to get this wedding organised by Christmas'.

"I know if we don't get married, everyone is going to say there are problems because we pushed the wedding back. But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon - not get married between gigs.''

McFadden recently signed up to present a second series of Australian reality show 'Football Superstar'. He is also said to be making plans for a new music project.

Meanwhile, Goodrem has been working on the follow-up to her third album Delta, which was released in 2007.

The pair started dating in 2004 following McFadden's split from 'I'm A Celebrity' winner Kerry Katona.
