Beyoncé not ready to start a family

Singer and actress Beyoncé Knowles has said that she is not ready to start a family yet.

The star, who married rapper Jay-Z last year, told MTV News that playing a mother in her new movie 'Obsessed' had not made her feel broody.

The singer said: "Well, I think I definitely want to be a mother one day, and I will be - God willing - but not really [right now]."

"I didn't really get the little urge [from playing a mum]. It was more like, 'God, this is a lot of work'."
