The trade daily has said that while no castings have taken place, Taymor has been reading the script with Jim Sturgess and Evan Rachel Wood, who starred in her film 'Across the Universe'.

While Sturgess is not expected to join the show, Wood has said publicly that the role of Mary-Jane Watson is hers.

U2's new album, 'No Line on the Horizon', is released in Ireland tomorrow.
