Bono to sing at Obama celebration

Bono will be among the artists who will perform at the 18 January public celebration in Washington, DC to mark Barack Obama's inauguration.

Billboard reports that joining the U2 singer at 'We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial' will be Beyoncé, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder.

Herbie Hancock, Josh Groban, John Legend, James Taylor, Usher and will.i.am are also among the 19 performers on the bill.

Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III and Queen Latifah will give readings at the event.
