Davina reacts to 'horrible TV' remarks

Television presenter Davina McCall has said that she doesn't care that people often brand her an "annoying, shouting wowan", who is responsible for "horrible TV".

Speaking to Heat magazine, the 'Big Brother' presenter said: "People still think they can tell me to my face that 'Big Brother' is disgusting and they ask me how I can be involved with it, assuming that any decent person automatically thinks that."

"I know lots of people think I'm just an annoying, shouting woman in charge of this horrible TV show. But you know what? I really don't care anymore."

"Actually it's a brilliant format which I totally stand by, and I totally admire the people who work on it," she said.

The new series of 'Celebrity Big Brother' is due to begin on 2 January next.
