Winslet fury over airbrush queries

Kate Winslet is "furious" over speculation that her body was airbrushed for the December issue of Vanity Fair.

People magazine reports that The Sun, the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail had all analysed the photo, in which Winslet only wears black heels and stockings, and had cast doubt on its integrity.

Speaking to People magazine, Winslet's representative said: "Kate is furious at suggestions that her body has been airbrushed. She is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots."

The Daily Mail quotes a Vanity Fair spokesperson as saying: 'Kate really did look fabulous and hardly needed any retouching at all. Just a little smoothing of the skin tone and covering of blemishes. There was no change in the body shape. She really does look that hot."

The December issue of Vanity Fair goes on sale on Friday.
