Details of 24 'Day Seven' revealed

Full details of the new series of '24' have been announced in the US.

The Hollywood Reporter says that 'Day Seven' will premiere on American television on Sunday 11 January with a two-hour episode, followed by another two-hour episode on Monday 12 January.

A two-hour prequel movie, '24: Redemption', will be screened in the US on Sunday 23 November.

'Day Seven' begins with Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) on trial and his Counter Terrorism Unit disbanded.

Bauer's former colleague Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard), who had been presumed dead, then reappears.
