Reality television star Jade Goody has spoken about her mother's reaction to the news that she has cervical cancer.

Speaking to 'GMTV', Goody said that she was initially frustrated by how calm her mother Jackiey was when the news was first broke to her.

"And I was thinking, 'You're strong,' I was thinking, 'How much stronger have I got to be?'," she said.

"I just wanted that cuddle. Obviously I told her over the phone so I couldn't have a cuddle, I'm sure if I was with her she would've cuddled me. But it is really odd with me and my Mum."

Goody recently cut short her appearance on the Indian version of 'Big Brother' after news of her diagnosis reached her.
