Fans want Doctor Who on the big screen

A new survey has found that 'Doctor Who' is the series that TV fans most want to see turned into a new film.

The poll for the Radio Times in the UK had 'Friends' in second place with 'Red Dwarf' third, 'Heroes' fourth and 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' fifth.

'Spooks' was in sixth place with '24', 'Lost', 'Torchwood' and 'The Prisoner' completing the Top 10.

'Star Trek' was voted the TV series which had made the most successful transition to cinemas.
