Hair dye caused Peaches collapse

The recent collapse suffered by Peaches Geldof was caused by her inadvertently inhaling fumes from hair dye, according to a report in a British newspaper.

The Daily Star reports that Geldof, the daughter of Boomtown Rats singer and Africa campaigner Bob Geldof, accidentally inhaled ammonia fumes from the dye when she forgot to open a window while dyeing her hair.

Paramedics were called to the scene to revive Geldof after she fell unconscious. She is then reported to have asked for the incident to be kept secret in order that it would not appear in tabloid newspapers.

A spokesman, Andy Varley, said today: "Peaches has made a full recovery from the minor incident reported in yesterday's papers.

"After attending last night's Batman premiere in Leicester Square, she is looking forward to work as usual today."
