Madonna denies affair with Rodriguez
Madonna has denied recent media reports that she has cheated on husband Guy Ritchie and that the couple's marriage is on the verge of collapse.
A flurry of speculation in the last week has alleged that the pop superstar has been having an affair with New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez.
Both Madonna and director Ritchie previously denied the reports, and Madonna has again issued a fresh statement to rule out an affair and a separation.
She told People.com: "My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study."
Rodriguez's wife Cynthia has reportedly blamed Madonna for the breakdown of her marriage and is reportedly set to file for divorce this week.
