Hilton tops Most Overexposed Celebrity poll

Socialite Paris Hilton has been named the Most Overexposed Celebrity in America in a poll conducted for Forbes magazine.

LA firm E-Poll Market Research found that 70% of respondents felt that the term described Hilton's visibility in the US.

Most stars average between 3% and 7% at the peak of their careers, according to Forbes.

Britney Spears came in second in the poll with 67%. She was followed by Lindsay Lohan, Pamela Anderson and Nicole Richie.

Mary-Kate Olsen, Tom Cruise, Donald Trump and US reality stars Kim Kardashian and Heidi Montag also made the top ten.
