Alba announces that she is engaged

Pregnant star Jessica Alba has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend, film producer Cash Warren.

In an email to the Associated Press, Alba's publicist, Brad Cafarelli, said: "I can confirm that they are engaged."

Cafarelli said the couple's baby was due in late spring or early summer.

Alba will next be seen on cinema screens in the thriller 'Awake'.
