Joy for Leon in the X Factor final

Leon Jackson was crowned X Factor winner tonight, beating Rhydian Roberts in a 'shock' result.

The win means the Scotsman has landed a £1 million record contract and a shot at this year's Christmas number 1.

His debut single 'When You Believe' will be released this Wednesday.

When told of the result his initial reaction was "It's not real", then went on to thank everyone who voted for him.

Same Difference had the fewest votes, coming in third place.
