Dermot O'Leary upsets Celine Dion
Television presenter Dermot O'Leary has admitted that singer Celine Dion was upset when he cut her off as she was discussing the 'X Factor' contestants with him.
The presenter told Heat magazine that Dion was eager to speak about all the contestants on the show but said that he didn't have time.
O'Leary said: "The thing was, she really wouldn't stop, and I had producers in my ear telling me that if she carried on naming every single act on the show and telling us what she thought of them, we'd fall off the air before we got to the actual results."
"So I literally had to shut her up, and just had to say something. She has that very Quebecois stare. Her management weren't happy about it," he said.
O'Leary later offered to apologise to Dion but claims that his bosses told him not to, saying: "No way. You were great with her".
