50 Cent sympathises with Kanye West

Rapper 50 Cent has sympathised with his chart rival Kanye West following the recent death of his mother Donda.

50 Cent, who recently threatened to quit performing after West's album outsold his latest release, said: "That's really an unfortunate situation".

"I hope he can work his way through it. It's good to see him actually touring. You can work your way back into a comfortable space where you can deal with those situations."

"Kanye's relationship with his mom had a lot more depth to it than a lot of people's. He was really close to his mom," he said.

"I hope that he can work his through his way through it. If you're active, you'll find reasons to smile, reasons to be happy."
