Amy asks fans to send roses to her husband

Amy Winehouse has asked her fans to send Blake Fielder-Civil red roses to show their support for her jailed husband.

The star sent a bouquet of flowers to her incarcerated partner at the weekend to celebrate the couple's six-month wedding anniversary, and urged fans at a gig in Glasgow on Saturday to do the same.

She told the audience: "I'm going to send him a bouquet of flowers. And I want everyone here to send Blake a red rose," before giving out his address at London's Pentonville Prison.

Winehouse and Fielder-Civil were married in May in Miami, Florida.

Fielder-Civil is currently being held after his arrest earlier this month on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to a charge of grievous bodily harm.
