Doherty's pet cat took cocaine?

Pete Doherty's cat has been rescued by vets after traces of cocaine were found in its bloodstream, according to reports.

According to British newspaper the Daily Star, the newborn kitten - recently born to Doherty's adult cat Dinger - was rushed to a clinic after falling ill. Tests found it had ingested the drug.

Police are now said to be investigating the matter.
